SerpentEyes is based out of Huntsville, AL, and has been producing since 2017 when he moved back home to the state after spending a couple years in California. His time with friends there helped shape his tastes for electronic and dance music. Starting with more aggressive tastes in Dubstep & Trap, but eventually moving into the UK 140 style of Dubstep and rekindling a love for Drum & Bass along with new passions such as Reggae/Dub and Breaks. 

For New Years Eve 2022 heading into 2023, SerpentEyes dropped his Debut Album Change of Heart out on the Label he curates & manages for The Widdler, WiddFam. 
His time in Widdler's community has helped him grow as a producer alongside his talented staff at the label. The Album features Jungle, Drum & Bass, Dub, Dubstep, Psychedelia, and Eastern Instrumentation.

Recent accolades include releasing on DDD, NOIZION, Elemental Arts, LDH Records and featuring guest mixes on DDD, Mode.London, Internet Public Radio, TruSik, as well as a 5 year stint on Sub.FM. With a signature dark & gritty vibe, but not afraid to delve into dubwise & melodic tracks, SerpentEyes always has the dancefloor slIthering.

I'm usually blending  guitar finger picking  & minimal bass with  electronica,   ambient soundscapes & Eastern world music sounds.

I have been on the road pretty much full time touring my music for over 10 years now. I still continue to seek new adventure and build upon the hard work I've already put in (I'm not one to take the easy way round). Having toured almost every country in Europe, Iceland, Japan, Australia, USA and Canada (to name a few)u
I mainly play my own material, which comes from a variety of sources and inspirations from Punk, Hardcore, Blues, Jazz, Country blues, Experimental music, Heavy Metal and even Electronic music (good music is good music right?). I'm just a massive music fan of all sorts and want to reflect that in my own out put. I'm not very keen to be boxed in as a song writer or certain style. Each album has a different take on myself and the music is very much written from the heart about subjects I either am interested in or personal experiences.

DJ Tendraw is the abstract turntablist, circuit bent free noise alter-ego of London based artist Michael Shaw.
