Originating from ancient Greek, Mousikē is the union of 3 things; words with or without meaning, physical moves that we call dance and the evolution of music.

Rising from the land of muses, Anatolia; Mousikē started as a Soundcloud page & private parties in Istanbul. Now it turned into a series of musical gatherings all around the world, which ended up as a vibrant community with a great variety of colours and tastes.

With launch of Mousikē Records, roots of our young tree are expanding to various channels and music platforms to grow & give more goods to wider community; and eventually die and decompose to its core elements which will become life & inspiration to other livings in the universe.

Detroit has long been a hub for electronic beat lovers and speaker freakers, but Golf Clap’s Hugh Cleal aims to lead a new generation. For nearly a decade, he’s hustled the project and its Country Club Disco label to the forefront of house music’s funkiest dimensions. The project (formerly a duo with Bryan Jones), works tirelessly to conjure a palpable energy, one fans can feel at every gig, be it a hot-and-heavy club set or an energetic takeover of a festival stage. Golf Clap feeds off the crowd, spinning the hottest songs of the moment while breaking new records - and this isn’t any press play, hands in the air fair. You're likely to hear a lot of cutting up between facefulls of funk and bass. 

Fueled by a relentless passion, when Cleal isn’t behind the decks, he’s likely pulling all-nighters in the studio. Bodies dancing in real-time is an addiction, but when it comes to original productions or high-profile remixes, Golf Clap wants to create something for every moment. Recent singles “Freak It Out” [Country Club Disco] “Mystery Scene” [mau5trap/Insomniac] and “Gravitate” [Toolroom] showcase their deft and dark grooves, while 2018 EPs  Vices  and  Machines  showcase club-ready attitudes. High-profile remixes for Zeds Dead and Illenium, Zhu and Tame Impala, Louis The Child, and Hotel Garuda give the music makers a chance to showcase stylistic variety. 

While 2020 has been a year of great change, Cleal has never stopped working. With loads of new tunes in the wings and a dedication to the Country Club community, Golf Clap is and always will be, in his own words, “about creating a community.”

Carmine Lobozzo , also known as EMA , was born in south Italy in 1985.At the age of six , he had the first physical contact with music when he started piano studies .His love for music was in continuous evolution, that takes him to appreciate and study a lot of other musical instruments like guitar , bass , drums , flute , blues harp , and saxophone .Musically , Ema ,was born with a classical mood mixed with 90's dance music ...in the 2000 , he started one of the bigger adventures of his life whit a local FM radio , where he learned to love all kind of music especially jazz , blues , soul , and house music that drives him to buy a pair of Technics 1210 and a mixer to mix his selections totally live on radio.If DJing was his passion, his voice warm, full-bodied and powerful, led him to become one of the most prolific house vocalist and performer, which still continues to work in a professional manner and with a rooster of collaborations in continuous evolution.Maniac of musical perfection, in ten years, has thrown hundreds of productions, because, according to him, not perfect, not respectful of musical canons for which he has deep respect.In 2012, thanks to the support of Daniele Petronelli (remixer of his first record), the label No-logik Records, releases "Crysis Orchestra" , the first official track of Ema (supported by : Richie Hawtin, Luciano, Roger Sanchez, Maceo Plex, Tini, Dubfire, Reebot, Marco Bailey, Loco DIce, Marco Carola and many more!).Other projects are just ready, and others are still being worked on, always hoping to be able to excite their listeners, those who dance and those who play them.Ema besides the music, has another passion: the medicine, it is now a student of Medicine and Surgery in the University of Rome "La Sapienza", always convinced that the best cure for all diseases, is, and will always be THE MUSIC!
