The purpose of San Francisco Zen Center is to make accessible and embody the wisdom and compassion of the Buddha as expressed in the Soto Zen tradition established by Dogen Zenji in 13th-century Japan and conveyed to us by Suzuki Roshi and other Buddhist teachers. Our practice flows from the insight that all beings are Buddha, and that sitting in meditation is itself the realization of Buddha nature, or enlightenment.

Damien "DaLomonze" Warren (Cleveland, Ohio) developed an interest in music early on in his youth. This passion allowed him to spark a career by the age of 16 working alongside DJ Phatty Banks. DaLomonze has developed a distinct mixture of Inspirational R&B, Gospel & Adult Contemporary music to the industry that draws masses worldwide to his unique sound. He's also developed as a songwriter and studio engineering to local, regional, and nationally known artists.

DaLomonze has hit a stride with a string of releases-including “On A Sunday” , “Beg” and "Rejection Issues" , these singles combine Inspiration and R&B genres with a colorful sense of wordplay intertwined with a Gospel message. With a clear voice, broad range, songwriting skills, and production experience; he is one of the more prolific independent minded artists in his class.

​In 2021 DaLomonze featured with industry artist Emcee N.I.C.E and released "Dancin" which was later nominated for both a Dove and Grammy award. His upcoming single "Monies" is set to release May 13th 2022.
