This is a song I wrote around 1987. It was recorded on a four track cassette, but I sent it to GarageBand and added a vocal, a bass and some drums.

I wrote this song back in the late 1980's for a radio station contest for a trip to the Bahamas. As part of the contest you had to mention the Bahamas and Budweiser. Anyway, I didn't win, but I did get this song out of the deal.

Bahama Bypass

This is a song I worte in 1983 for all the lost souls who went to Catholic school, or religious school adjacent. 

The high harmony during the chorus was done by my departed wife, Kathleen Cramer. I had forgotten she was on this track until I listened after many years. What a delightful surprise!

The Lonely Catholic Boy

This is a song about a guy who needs some direction from his mate.

I wrote this song in 1974. I recorded it in 2025. It started as a song between two separated lovers, but could also be one person talking to themself. This goes out to old friend Bill McKenzie.

Regular Guy

I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri. I’ve been writing songs  for over 50 years.. On this site you will hear old songs and new songs. You’ll hear songs originally recorded on a four track cassette recorder and many using GarageBand and an Apple computer. For good or bad I play all instruments on my songs and most often rely on artificial drumming through loops and other technological drummers.

I like a lot of different kinds of music from classical, to blues, jazz, rock and roll in most of its different forms. I was fortunate to grow up in a household that appreciated music and encouraged us to listen and play. I had piano lessons as a youngster for about four years. I never went on with formal training, but those lessons and fingerings remain with me today. 

On a few songs you may hear a female backing vocal which was my wife Kathy Cramer. She encouraged and inspired me to write and record my songs. She’s with me in my heart everyday.
