ARTIST BIO:  Johnny Luckett was born (John Isaac Luckett Jr.) He's an American Composer, Writer, Actor, Philosopher. He was the only son of Edna and John Luckett; his father worked for the Northrop Corporation (Head of Engineering) and his    mother was a Real-Estate Agent. His musical history began in Thousand Oaks California; at the age of five he (proficiently) started playing piano; he then began writing solo Piano and Chamber works (secretly) on his nanny's keyboard, while he was thought to be napping.  Luckett (in those days) really showed a very prodigious ability for music itself; although he was thought to be slow in other subjects.  He was acquired and discovered (at the behest of his nanny) by Hollywood Agent, Dale Garrick;  he began acting professionally, and began studying theatrically ; which subsequently kept him out of school for most of his adolescent life.  Luckett's early years in Hollywood are somewhat unclear though, even to him. 

"I started working at a very early age, I was five; I remember going to many auditions, over at Warner's,  MGM, which is now Sony, and Universal;  I also recall doing lots of modeling-gigs as well.  Katrina Hellstrom (my nanny) was a wonderful woman, very eccentric, but wonderful;  I remember blowing one of my lines one day,  she quickly approached me and (softly) slapped my face; I was perplexed!  She calmly said:   "This is a business, is it not?  Be professional."  I loved that woman, and thank her everyday for that wonderful advice.  - Johnny Luckett 

In the 80's he recorded  some songs which he refused to sell, but threw-out to pleased concert-goers. Later-on (1990's) he worked with (Producer) Al Burton and long time friend Adam Pliska (President WPT) on numerous television projects. He seemed to (being self-educated) further his education in cinema, philosophy, psychology, and the arts; he was asked to join the prestigious "480 masters-class" at USC (1990); prier to that, he worked out of Chapman University (Time-Warner TV 1988-1995) doing educational programming for children.  He also produced & hosted the first known televised show "Save the Children" (Adam Walsh Center California) that dealt with abducted &  missing children;  during that time (and before) he did several rock-concerts accompanying numerous rock bands; thus singing and playing his style of Hard-Rock-guitar, which (by-all-accounts) wowed audiences everywhere;  then suddenly (no one knows why) he stopped, thus engulfing himself into a screenplay which he, in a very unorthodox style, formulated a movie-crew shooting his conceptions as he was writing it. Then after 7-years of serious writing (screenplays & books) he went back into the studio again, and spent another six years scoring and recording "IT'S TIME".  The Rock-Musical you're about to purchase, was years in the making; and is truly an American masterpiece.
