I always enjoy trying new things whether it’s hooking up reverb/delay pedals to my snare/timbale microphones or incorporating a Didgeridoo in with my drumming. Joe Tomino from Matisyahu has been a huge influence on me from how he uses his reggae style and incorporating pedals with his drumming.
 
Now I can set delays at certain parts of songs and create the atmospheric dub sounds that I like to hear. Another major musical influence in my life has been Xavier Rudd, mainly from his Didgeridoo work and how he uses the drums and Didgeridoo at the same time. This blew me away when I witnessed it for the first time and I knew it was something I could do as long as I had provided the time and discipline to do so.
