Multi-Instrumentalist / Composer, Evan Opitz is a recent graduate of The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Guitar. Now living in the City of Chicago, he hopes to integrate his take on writing/improvisation to new heights. In addition to being Jazz Guitarist/Composer, he also performs and writes as a solo artist as well as leading the baroque indie-rock band The Phantom Broadcast. Opitz has played and recorded with artists such as Travis Orbin, Emily Blue, Joseph Meland, Bardo, Marrow, Church Booty, Rebecca Rego & The Trainmen, Marathon, Euriah, City Mouth
