“Dragonfly” is a song written and performed by my friend Crystal...I sang the backing vocals, overdubbed Fender bass, and recorded and mixed it solely on my analog 4-track. I was introduced to making music from age 4 or 5 when my dad took me to his band practice every week where I’d make the rounds “playing” drums, keyboards, an old upright piano, guitars and his ‘68 Fender P Bass (or 70’s MusicMan Stingray Bass). I owe a lot to the generosity and kindness of each of the band members. They were the catalyst that started me on my own musical path of discovery and creation that feeds my soul to this day. I continue to write, record, perform and cover the songs that move me (from the gypsy jazz era to present day), and I’m grateful for the chance to share it with others.
