Songs of a young dog.  New recordings of work written during the Fourth Quarter of the 20th Century.  I've played these for family and friends for decades -- now I'm sharing some of them with you too.

I rediscovered these in a water-logged book while bouncing back from a flood that destroyed my studio in 2012.  I'm retracing these "breadcrumbs" i left on my journey here on earth -- recapturing the hopes, disappointments, loves, and losses of my life.

This is a product of my studio v5.0 -- Moog D, Waldorf N, Quantum, and Kyra, Fender Strat and Tele, Gretsch Broadkaster, Roland TR-8S, Isla 2400, Apple Logic.

The Breadcrumb Diaries

Some new songs.  I took the cover shot on at a 12th-century Benedictine monastery on St. Mary's Island in Mljet National Park in beautiful Croatia.

Blue Horizon

Mostly instrumentals, with a few oddities here and there.   Most of this was done with virtual instruments -- Omnisphere, Style, Trillian, Maschine.  As I was completing this set, my studio was destroyed in a flood (October 2012) -- and I had to start over pretty much from scratch.

SndTrx (2012)

In the middle of making this one (October 2012), my Manhattan studio was flooded -- and I came close to being killed.  I lost a lot of equipment, and (more importantly) my workflow and way of doing things.  But I came back...

I borrowed the title from the epic film by Kurosawa.  I shot the cover image of the Hudson River from Pier 40 in lower Manhattan.

The Hidden Fortress (2008)

This project was the first I did after my studio was destroyed in 2012 by a flood.  It started life as poppy joyful EDM-esque music -- but soon took a darker turn when I broke my right hand and couldn't play for many months.  Then in 2019 the pandemic hit, and things really got interesting.  Then, not to be outdone, in 2020 my left hand decided to get itself broken too.  To go along with it, I sank to a psychological rock bottom -- like so many of us did.  So I guess this is some kind of testament to resilience in the face of it all.  We all do the best we can...

Debuted at 17 with the Al Raymond Band fronting Johnny B. Goode. Broadcast deejay, WYBC-FM, 94.3 from New Haven, CT (1968-70).  Various bands in various genres in the late '60s and '70s in New Haven and in the '80s in NYC (guitar, bass, voice, writing, arrangements and repertoire).  Recorded early '80s on Warner Brothers and SOS Records with singer Bobby Stewart - co-authored, arranged, and guitared on Copyright on Love b/w Interception 12" vinyl (Plan B Music, ASCAP), charted on Billboard Dance chart. I then vacated the music biz for a fascinating career as a management consultant.  During the Pandemic of 2020, I reconnected with music like a long-neglected lover.  She had not forgotten me - and these are some of our love children.  I now enjoy the rare luxury of doing music solely for passion - at my own pace, to my own standards, for my own pleasure.
