This project was the first I did after my studio was destroyed in 2012 by a flood.  It started life as poppy joyful EDM-esque music -- but soon took a darker turn when I broke my right hand and couldn't play for many months.  Then in 2019 the pandemic hit, and things really got interesting.  Then, not to be outdone, in 2020 my left hand decided to get itself broken too.  To go along with it, I sank to a psychological rock bottom -- like so many of us did.  So I guess this is some kind of testament to resilience in the face of it all.  We all do the best we can...

This one's about emotional vertigo.  Vertigo is when you feel falling-down drunk all the time.  Sound fun, right?  Not so much, when it's day after day, month after month.... But it is fascinating -- so I tried to capture it in song.

Each song is a little gift I give to myself that captures emotions, events, and people along my twisty and fascinating trek through this life. And some of them take on new meanings at different phases.  I hope you'll enjoy hearing them as much as I do making them. Bitten hard by the music bug in the early '60s upon hearing Maybellene by Chuck Berry and Cathy's Clown by the Everly Brothers on WIBG Philadelphia.  Debuted at 17 with the Al Raymond Band fronting Johnny B. Goode. Broadcast deejay, WYBC-FM, 94.3 from New Haven, CT (1968-70).  Various bands in various genres in the late '60s and '70s in New Haven and in the '80s in NYC (guitar, bass, voice, writing, arrangements and repertoire).  Recorded early '80s on Warner Brothers and SOS Records with singer Bobby Stewart - co-authored, arranged, and guitared on Copyright on Love b/w Interception 12" vinyl (Plan B Music, ASCAP), charted on Billboard Dance chart. I then vacated the music biz for a fascinating career as a management consultant.  During the Pandemic of 2020, I reconnected with music like a long-neglected lover.  She had not forgotten me - and these are some of our love children.  I now enjoy the rare luxury of doing music solely for passion - at my own pace, to my own standards, for my own pleasure.  SUPREME THANKS to the best hero, mentor, supporter, and pal a budding muso could have had - my Daddy Jim (RIP). There was always music in our house.  Special thanks to Jack Adams (RIP).
