In 2017, Cid Inc. unleashed his tour de force track 'Shifter' to the world on his Replug Records imprint, which went on to hit the #4 spot in the Beatport Progressive Top 10 and sit high in the Top 100 for a total of 125 days, earning 'Shifter' its place as one of the tracks of the year.

What started off as an in-house remix at Replug by label partner 'Orsen' for their own use, quickly evolved into one of the most anticipated and requested remixes of the last few months after being played by Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and Cid Inc. in their sets around the globe.

So to say a big thank you for the ongoing support, Replug have partnered with Progressive Astronaut to offer this exclusive, official remix as a free download.

After touring the globe with a three-piece band, Desert Sound Colony, the alias of Liam Wachs, has made a welcome return to his dancefloor roots. His forthcoming EP Tethered is set for release on Edu Imbernon’s Fayer with remixes from acclaimed producers H.O.S.H, The Drifter and Denis Horvat.

The vocals of title track Tethered reach out to you like a tribal calling, whilst guitar strings lead into a hypnotic trance that is interspersed with cosmic sounds and clashing cymbals. Wachs describes it as “most appropriate for an after hours session or a sunrise at a festival.” Whereas Sunrise of My Mind is deep and bassy with a broken beat that yearns to be heard on a huge soundsystem. “Somewhere between the dub and breakbeat sounds of Leeds circa 2009 and the weirder side of bands today” he explains.

The second track receives two reworks. The first from Dynamic favourite H.O.S.H is layered to the brim, sending the tune to another dimension. Denmark’s Denis Horvat who has released on labels like Afterlife and Innervisions delivers a darker, more techno leaning version. Maeve label boss The Drifter reworks Tethered by slowing the beat down a notch but still retaining plenty of groove to satisfy any dancefloor.

An artist with many talents, Desert Sound Colony has released on admired labels like Scissor & Thread and Me Me Me. Recently he has graced the stages of many respected festivals alongside names such as Ewan Pearson, Kenny Larkin, Hunee and Craig Richards.

Desert Sound Colony- Tethered EP (Fayer)

PREMIERE: Desert Sound Colony - Sunrise Of My Mind (Denis Horvat Remix) [Fayer]

Henry Saiz & Band recently revealed plans for their ambitious Kickstarter-funded album Human and a first taste in the form of stunning debut single The Golden Cage. Hot on its heels comes the spectacular indie dance stunner Ghosts, with a host of stellar remixes.
Transhuman Club Version draws the original out into a brooding 9-minute-long techno opus, at first pitching the vocals down before they rise up, giving the effect of a male/female duet. Stuttering, distorted chords rise from the deep beat with delicate arpeggios, the track slowly swelling to an intensity before restraining itself. Its a subtle, classy rework perfect for those build moments in deeper sets. It should be noted that its this style that Henry Saiz & Band will be playing in their live shows, combining the most powerful elements of their originals with a tougher electronic backbone perfect for festivals, arenas and concert halls.

‘Aurore’ hits with chunky drum arrangement that’s reminiscent of Deep Dish at the height of their powers; deep, driving and wide enough to carry the weight of the pristine synths, humanised rhythmic textures and melodic weaves, this keeps building until the very end of its epic tenure. Beautiful.

‘Airborne’, meanwhile, is the full trip: almost 10 minutes of locked-in beauty as we glide further and further into a state of unblinkered positivity. Building us up with precision tension, Guy doesn’t even introduce the life-affirming riff until 4.30 but by jove you know about it when he does. A few months after, Viginto Tres is back with new work: "Vimana". 
The title relates to the mythological flying palaces or chariots described in Hindu texts and Sanskrit epics. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vimana)

It's a  techno track that ranges in the 90's atmospheres just like the myth of Vimana . The mood is very deep, with acidic echoes moving frantically on analog bass. The structure has very short drops and an incessant groove from beginning to end. The main subject is an original vocal sample taken from the 1962 Mercury-Atlas mission and is perfectly linked to the sound of the track. 

The remix of Elum preserves many sounds of the original so as not to lose the magical atmosphere of the song, working a lot on the rhythmic structure and the secondary sounds can give back its personal touch fresh and perfect for the dancefloor.

A brand new EP by Rockaforte featuring five tracks in his own style. 
Cow bells, rims, snares on the top make the package groovy but still as crazy as Luca's wishes. 
The journey begins with the track 'R2-D2', s track made for assuring great action on the dance floor, keeping similar elements like the other tracks of the EP but perhaps slightly more progressive.
Second we can find 'Fahrenheit 451'. 
Already released on the second episode of 'Lost In Fragments' various artists, this hypnotic techno cut is finding a place also on his new EP, fitting well with the main concept of the EP itself.
The Third track, ‘Suspicious Minds', a deep tune characterized by rhythmic synths on the top and some intricate melody patterns.
The next track is all about deep melodies. 
A typical Luca melodic touch tune which sounds like a memory of the 90s with the kick on top. 
Perfect for afters or for closing up a set.
Lastly we will find the track 'Back To Disco'. 
A straight dance floor track that also keeps an experimental touch. Perfect for spreading positive emotions throughout the crown.

Canada-based Frenchman Mayfie makes his debut on French imprint Audio Perspective this month. The rising techno producer, host of Body's Up Radioshow and resident at Circus Afterhours in Montreal, is most certainly one to keep on your radar in 2018. Mayfie delivers 3 heavy-hitting cuts, offering up a staunch powerhouse sound with deft melodic touches. Title track 'Therma' is a tense mind-warper with a throbbing bass-line and a harrowing ensemble of fx coating the surface. 'Hoova' is a similar haunting techno composition, which utilises a monsterous build and an upfront groove in a minimal, bone-shaking drop. Track three 'Navy' is a more melodic affair, bringing to the fore an ever-rising arpeggiator and a set of booming stabs sounds. Closing out the release is fellow Frenchman The White Shadow (Suara, Einmusika, Chapter 24 Records). Taking on the title track, the established producer delivers an intense acid-riddled edition custom-built for the dance-floor.
