This piece is a tribute to Season 3 of Guild Wars 2's PvP League. I spent about 15 hours straight writing this (only interrupted by biological needs). Even though I'm not the greatest of PvPers, I enjoyed climbing the ranked ladder this season. I hope the sounds from this track can inspire, motivate, encourage those competing for glory in the Heart of the Mists, as those are the things the Mists gave me to write this.

Cheers to my friend Valia for encouraging me to push through a creative wall I hit in the first 5 hours of writing this.

Also, a big shoutout to Anput, Priscillia (Danielle), and Ascast for a great team experience on May 25th. May you find glory, and glory find you... in the Mists and beyond!

P.S. There's a hint of the HoT theme in my track, as its own tribute to elite specialisations that came with the expansion. I played around for fun in season 1, but struggled this season due to a completely different meta. Now that I understand how to play (against) the new meta, the new sub-professions feel a lot more enjoyable to me. I also haven't had a chance to really play the expansion until now, since I bought it shortly before release last year, so having experienced all 4 maps (and all the great music that came with them), also encouraged me to include that 3-4 second taste of HoT.
