As an Atlanta based Artist raised in the Carolinas lyrically, vocally and musically he is a different type of talent that finds himself in a lane of his own. One with the music and the words that flow from an insatiably creative soul he continues to evolve as an artist and an individual. His journey will be one to watch because he has yet to reach his potential and is considered one of the next artists to emerge from south.

J. Rashaan is a musician originally hailing from Decatur, GA. His musical style is Babyface meets Mario. He has been involved in and inspired by music since his childhood. He plays several instruments including saxophone, keyboards, drums and guitar. He has been a member of several musical performing groups, both singing and playing, and as a college graduate, with a degree in Music, J. Rashaan has embarked on a musical journey that has led to the blending of several genres, into what he calls Indie R&B. The more acoustic feel to his music is sure to be the thing you notice first, before taking note of his deep lyrical content and romantic melodies with a hint of gospel harmonies. He has honed his musical skills over the years by being a musician, arranger, songwriter and singer. After twelve years associated with parts of the music industry, he has finally been successful in bringing his eclectic, soulful, musical vision to light.
