Maybe another time… This song is about that feeling of false hope. Trying all you can to make something work to no success but, you don’t want to give up. You’re afraid of the outcome if you do give up but, you keep telling yourself, “maybe another time.” You’ve spent too much time trying to prove to yourself it can work when you know it won’t.. I’ve tried everything to make it work but it hasn’t.. Maybe another time?
