Tin Man and AAAA summon the ethereal spirit of acid. Tin Man, AKA Johannes Auvinen, has been studying the emotional potential of the Roland TB-303 for 15 years now, and AAAA (Gabo Barranco), a fixture of the Mexico City underground, might as well be his acolyte. While the coincidental similarities of their studio and live approaches make this collaboration feel natural, even expected. This recording was taken from the underground party EXT. in Mexico City, a reference for the true rave in this city with its guerrilla communications and the use of unusual abandoned spaces as scenery as an alternative to the usual common club spaces.

The Two Heavens "White Orca" project was born in the final weeks of summer 2024, a raw reflection of both loss and acceptance. This project holds deep personal meaning, with both tracks dedicated to a childhood friend who tragically passed away in a freediving accident in the Philippines. The music was crafted to evoke an emotional journey—blending profound sadness with moments of unexpected euphoria, capturing the complex beauty of remembering someone lost too soon. It’s a sonic exploration of grief, joy, and everything in between.
