This was inspired a lot by AquaMIDI's brilliant remaster of the original soundtrack in a fresh but nostalgic format. As usual, I also like to put an 80s twist on things but here I was inspired by the DiC cartoons again. I wanted to have that kind of 'used in a sequence in the show' sound so I stuck the original arrangement and wrote a bridge inspired by one of the later remixes of the song.

...Haven't made a post like this on this site since my "invisiblemario17" days, huh?
Well, this one has admittedly been a long time coming, but a recent post I saw shared into my feed here finally convinced me to make this push. I'm not going to repeat what I say again, so I'm hoping to make this count.

(ahem)

STOP USING GENERATIVE AI FOR YOUR SHIT. DON'T CARE IF IT'S "JUST A MEME." JESUS FUCKING **CHRIST** GUYS.
Literally all you guys are doing is further accelerating the damage done to our environment, creating concerns about whether your own stuff can ever be trusted to be "truly" yours again and training the AI that is currently being used as an excuse to take away people's jobs *right now.* And covering stuff "made" by AI only further "legitimizes" its use as far as other people are concerned. 
Hell, even if all the other stuff didn't exist? Generative "AI" would **still** be a flaming sack of shit due to it stealing from artists and musicians alike with no credit or compensation, *especially* smaller creators like you and me. Though honestly? Considering a lot of you peeps that are doing this have been making music on this platform for years, *y'all should fuckin know better already.*
I've already unfollowed so many people that I used to respect, people that thought throwing away their credibility for the sake of using AI to make the worst meme songs ever (among other things) was a good idea. And that list will likely continue to grow unfortunately. I'm genuinely furious with so many of you, and disappointed that your acclaim among the rest of us was apparently chopped liver to you.
This is the one and only time I will say this; there won't *be* a "next time" if your AI garbage gets put into my feed again.

Pitched the song up +580 cents on a whim, realized it was in a/the key that matches up with Bad, and as we all know, if there's one soundfont that should always have a few MJ songs under it's belt, it would be Wario Land 4.

Since this track is getting meme-ified throughout the internet, i was reminded of how good of a song it is. Decided to go with a Spooky, Funky 90's vibe for this remix. Hope y'all enjoy. It was a lot of fun to do.
