Issu de la Vendée, Tinou (@etienne-dreillard) fait ses premières armes au sein d’un sound system de free party, la Cannes à Son Family (@user-262757278). Sans surprise, à l’époque il joue hardtekno et tribe dans les teufs qu’ils organisent plusieurs fois par an.

Exilé depuis 5 ans à Leipzig en Allemagne, pour son boulot en logistique dans l’agence de DJ Electrobooking, Tinou s’y est fait une belle collection de vinyles, faisant évoluer son style vers une techno groovy, hypnotique, acid et puissante comme on aime. Si vous passez par là, vous aurez peut-être la chance de voir Tinou en club à Leipzig, Dresden ou Berlin.

Tinou a enregistré pour ÖND un chouette mix à 3 platines, mêlant vinyles de techno oldskool et des choses plus récentes en numérique, un régal groovy qui capture bien l’esprit techno.

Madloch's Sound Avenue proudly welcomes Argentinian talents Ignacio Tuzio and ZAHNA for their label debut with the Golden Hours EP, a four-track showcase of their collaborative vision. Both artists hail from Córdoba, Argentina, bringing distinct yet complementary backgrounds to this exciting new partnership.

ZAHNA comes prepared with previous experience in the Sound Avenue family, having released on sublabels 3rd Avenue and Future Avenue, along with appearances on respected imprints like AH Digital, Musique de Lune, Droid9 and onedotsixtwo. Ignacio Tuzio arrives with his own pedigree, including releases for Café De Anatolia Hub and Polyptych that demonstrated his skill for atmospheric, rhythmically engaging productions.

Their joint Golden Hours EP represents a meeting of minds, blending ZAHNA's established melodic sensibility with Ignacio's textural depth across four original productions. This debut not only introduces their collaborative potential to Sound Avenue's audience but also signals the emergence of a compelling new creative alliance in the progressive house sphere.

[ LIVE MATERIAL SERIES N°9 ]

Hi everyone. Today I'm glad to present you the ninth of the 'Live Material Series'. Wildfire Part 9 (Naughty Electro Mix) is one of the very few tracks I never removed from my liveset. What I do like with this one is that it sums up pretty well what the initial Wildfire live universe was: a bizarre mix between nostalgic melodies, and heavy, distorted electro sounds.

My goal when making this live version of Wildfire Part 9 was to make something relatively close to the original one, but more danceable, and of course, more 'acid'. So I kept the main synth chords from the original track, I added a few BPM to the tempo, and then I created several acid patterns that fitted well with the dynamics of the synth chords. When these elements were in place, I created this kind of 'French touch 2.0' electro beat, with this signature overcompressed snare sound one can hear in almost every Justice or SebastiAn early tracks.

The final touch was to add a distorted version of the original synth bass. Actually, I wanted to make it sound like it was answering to the acid sound, like in a naughtiness duel or something. I realized afterwards that this distorted synth bass was even giving more emphasis to the heavy electro feel of the whole track, which I founded rather pleasing as you can imagine.
