Lost Records have drafted in Hector Couto to helm the label’s sophomore release. Straight off the bat Hector kicks off the EP with the title track “I Believe”, a hypnotic and infectious number armed to the teeth with precise hi-hats and brooding basslines. “I Believe” cements Hector Couto’s production to an ever evolving sound while setting the stage perfectly for the follow up track “Knight Riders”.

Built on similar foundations to “I Believe”, “Knight Riders” introduces a rich soundscape, playingdeep and shadowy attributes against a field of succinct vocals and lead synth lines. Closing the EP we have remix heavyweights Waifs & Strays, 2013 being a blistering year for the production duo so far, seeing them feature on a plethora of releases. The remix ticks the boxes on what is becoming a key set of signature attributes that make up the duo’s sound, welding key features of the original and pinning them into a heavier groove whilst playing off atmospheric build ups and break downs.

Maya Jane Coles, the multi-award-winning 26 year old British-Japanese producer/DJ, presents another new chapter in her remarkable career, following her critically-acclaimed debut album “Comfort” with fabric 75.

The meditative propulsive house and techno for which Maya is renowned spurred Rolling Stone to include the young star as one of their top 25 most influential DJs on the planet, and secured her place at the top end of the Resident Advisor poll. It’s not hard to see why. Maya’s DJing highlights include a record breaking Boiler Room, much lauded Essential Mixes for Radio 1, a guest mix for XLR8R's hallowed 300th podcast, and live streamed mixes on Resident Advisor live from her residency at Richie Hawtin's Enter at Space.

In addition to her own production projects, Maya is a prolific remixer, adding The XX, Ella Fitzgerald, Tiga vs Audion, Rudimental feat. Emile Sandé, Bonobo, Big Dope P, and Alex Jones to a list which already included Massive Attack, Gorillaz, Little Dragon, Lianne La Havas, The Orb, Phil Kieran, Maceo Plex and Tricky.

They say good things come in pairs and that’s just how elrow Music like to do things: the good way. 
This second November release is brought to us by UK’s Skape. The young house and bass producer/DJ is one of the latest breakthrough talents from the British isles to feature abilities in elrow’s label with his ‘Body Rocker EP', an original four tracker short by Skapes (a.k.a  Alex Calver). 
The EP opens up with the track naming it, ‘Body Rocker (Original Mix)’, a track filled with techy sounds, with a loose percussion and a structures that builds itself, filled with crazy effects and well placed vocals, a dancefloor killer by own right that will consume crowd’s stamina while dancing. 
Following we find ‘Let Me Her Ya (Original Mix)’, again with a great loose percussion that remind us Skapes’ bass influences, with a kind of dark vibe to it thanks to the energetic vocals and general structure of the song, that slowly and  brilliantly fades away. 
Then, we have ‘Are We Gonna Party? (Original Mix)’ a real house banger, again with a joyful percussion work, with strong male vocals inviting us to party like never before. The delicate touches of liquid effects we find along the track makes it especially good for peak times at the floor, as well as its whole structure. 
Closing this EP we have ‘Rock the Diskotech (Original Mix)’, a soulful and bassy song with great vocal samples and a nice progression, maybe the one with a most recognizable elrow vibe to it, with an amazing set of effects, which makes this song stand as a perfect closure for this EP. 
All in all, it is a joyful and carnivalesque cornucopia of house and bass-influenced sounds that will delight DJs and audiences alike, especially those craving for the strongest vibes.
