There is this desire for physical and psychological health and the hope that these two will then deliver the Soul health that we are talking about, our true spiritual health. And what I say to people is just stop, just turn directly to what is always whole, healthy, always healthy, regardless of the state the body is in. What I've discovered is that people who do have chronic illnesses or people who have spoken in meetings who are dying, have cancer or aids or any number to things have spoken of how that has forced them to discover the purity of being that is unaffected by the body's ills, unaffected by death, unaffected by suffering.... 
But what happens is that often we use these physical illnesses as proof of that we are unworthy or that we are defiled or that we are no good or not getting it and that is unnecessary self torture. The point being, who you are can never be sick.

Gangaji - Wholeness

We have looked at how we project onto the so-called “other” and the unnecessary suffering that projection generates. This month, we look at how we relate to ourselves as an object in our own minds, overlooking our true face. Objectification also leads to unhappiness and suffering.
