illich Mujica is a Venezuelan born, New York City-bred DJ who plays uplifting melodic tunes blended with dark and mysterious beats. His magnetic presence and spellbinding universe were already displayed at Amaya Society in NYC as well as at Camp Festival 2022 ; also on his own productions and edits, including Portishead’s version of ABBA’s « SOS » , on which one can sense his very personal touch of enlightening darkness. 

With his new E.P named « The Constant Impermanence », Illich Mujica shows that the right track can transcend the opposites, day and night, East and West, light and darkness ; that the appropriate combination of beats and vocals can unlock the doors of our hearts as well as the ones of the clubs. The E.P includes 2 originals tracks and 2 remixes. 

In « The Constant Impermanence » the hypnotic rhythm and vocals are supported by empowering beats in order to board us on a flowing and uplifting journey of resurgence. Where to ? Two ways are already open with remixes by Landikhan who takes « The Constant Impermanence » on a deep yet joyful clubbing path while KARLÏ’s slow motion ethno remix allows to appreciate the original track’s multiple layers even more.

 With his second original track called « Surya Rising », illich Mujica takes us on an introspective trip through space and time starting with meditative vocals by Tory Stolper coupled with outer-space communications that lead to powerful ascending beats : a perfect opening track , from Berlin to Burning Man’s legendary sunrise sets on the Playa, that asserts the artist’s musical signature as well as his committed spiritual quest.

The highlight of the year! After more than eight years, the time has finally come: Boris Brejcha, also known as the Joker, is releasing his 10th album on his own label, Fckng Serious.
Listeners and fans can look forward to a very special musical collection. The album, which will be released on all streaming and download services on April 19, 2024, includes a total of 17 tracks plus 3 long versions of the previously released edits.
Since 2022, Boris Brejcha has been releasing his music again on his own label, Fckng Serious. Already in 2023, Brejcha gave us a glimpse into the upcoming album. His singles "Level One," "Space X (Edit),“ „Vienna (Edit),“ and "Dimension" have already given us a taste of this diverse album. And even in the new year, there was a preview of the highlight of the year. Boris Brejcha received prominent support from singers Malena Narvay and Leony, among others.
It was very important to the Joker himself that the album provides a deep insight into his musical work: "My album promises to be a captivating blend of familiar and nostalgic sounds, offering listeners a delightful journey through my artistic career." "Level One" reflects my entire musical journey and encompasses a variety of songs that showcase my unmistakable style while simultaneously paying homage to my previous works.“ We at Fckng Serious are more than happy to be part of this masterpiece. The album "Level One" is an important milestone for Boris Brejcha and us as a label in our musical history. Mood Hut’s CZ Wang and Neo Image officially release MH006, a 12-inch that features their long-leaked and celebrated west coast party starter Just Off Wave. Originally recorded in 2014, these tracks sat on ice until they finally passed Claudio’s Cadillac-test™.

Side A’s Just Off Wave throws back to a pioneering moment of Pacific Northwest hip-hop mysticism. It first gained sneaky notoriety as a favourite of local DJs, eventually making it around the world thanks to some—in classic Mood Hut fashion—misplaced CDRs. The track is blessed with the hypnotiq call-and-response vocals of the low-key but legendary Separated At Birth crew —an alias of two Canadian rappers born on the same day. Contract restrictions prohibit us from revealing any more. 

Side B features Open Mic Beat, an ecstatic DJ tool centred around an improvised drum machine traffic jam. This tune got its legs at early Mood Hut parties where it became a natural prompt, encouraging microphone-grabbing party guests to step up and freestyle.
