Creating Sacred Space 
This first part of a multi hour set comes in a forest friendly daytime outfit, a good dose of groove transitioning into more uplifting hypnotic soundscapes and beyond. This contemporary tale wants to give back a little bit of magic to our modern civilization, which in many ways works on fear - leaving one with the impression that the world is an unsafe, hostile place. To be healthy, man has to experience the setting we are designed for: nature. 
Since the early days of mankind and in many shamanic rituals, sacred space is created by invocating the spirits of the four cardinal directions - South, West, North, and East - as well as the sky (father) and earth (mother). These share the basic concept that all of life is inter-related and inter-dependent and everyone within protected. Also sacred architecture, like temples and places of worship, function in a similar way - making "transparent the boundary between matter and mind, flesh and the spirit." It is the invitation to retreat deep into the wilderness, sacrificing modern comforts for the benefits of greater autonomy and freedom, proclaiming new (old) forms of communal space for gathering and participation. By opening sacred space we leave behind profane affairs of ordinary life and allow us to enter our inner worlds. Unfortunately, laws and regulations as well as commercial interests often contradict and sabotage these needs making it a highly political affair to create new and sustain the last existing spaces. Creating sacred space by providing a place for dance, laughter and worship, could be the remedy of our time and carries the ability to repair, harmonize and even bring around healing.

Dj Tsubi, one of the latest members of the continuously growing BMSS Records family, has been an active participant of the Psy Trance scene since 2000. In the last 15 years, he has become one of the most-featured Djs of the Hungarian scene while traveling Europe and playing at underground events as well as some of the largest festivals. In the past few years, he has played a major part in organizing a series of successful parties, and in addition to performing, it is his second year as the music editor of radiOzora. This is a result of his very characteristic musical diversity, his eclectic style and his unique soundscapes which he remains true to, while keeping track of the actual trends.

Listening to his first compilation and the various tales it unfolds, we can take a glimpse into the alternate realities of his musical multiverse.

Cutting edge Psytrance and a classic touch, uplifting melodies and sounds of the darkest forests, the most danceable groovy rhythms and massive technoid beats, ancient chants and computer-programmed melodies - all have earned their place in this selection of exceptional tracks by internationally well-known artists such as Braincell, PsiloCybian, ManMachine or Para Halu as well as promising new talents like Sequoya, Datacult, Labyr1nth, Aurafood, Spiritcat or Hadron Orchestra. A perfect reflection of a label philosophy with only one goal in mind - spreading quality psychedelic electronic music.

Timecode starts the New Year with a bang. We proudly present the Liberty Capsule EP by our new-signed talent Distant Touch from the UK. Being a South African resident for many years and performing regularly at events, Ashley has fused musical influences from both scenes and designed his own highly psychoactive sound frequencies, a sonic hybrid of both daytime and night time styles. This release is mastered by Scorb @TRK Mastering and contains a remix of Android Spirit, a collaboration with Catarsis from Mexico and a solo track to give you a taste of what to expect on his debut album, coming later this year once resettled back in London to be closer to the pulse of the psychedelic scene. We hope you enjoy this induced trip when the bass kicks in.
