At this year's festival I had the chance to overlook the playground from behind the decks, while playing a deep set on the solar powered Solar Soundsystem, in the perfect setting of the Kinder Space. The audience was an amazingly playful one too: picture for yourself kids and adults playing all sort of games, hammocks in the sun, with soap bubbles floating away and crazy installations all over the place. His appearance marks the beginning of a strong cultural influx and prosperity for the Mayan empire! SUPERPENDEJOS, the mysterious duo that came to the Kingdom from another planet were responsible for astrophysics, solar systems and the identification of a new music to enlighten people. With the help of great ruler they became “High Priests of the Sun”, and recorded some elliptical space-time music in stone discs which were buried in the city of Tulum (in the Mayam region) for ages in order to avoid the seizure of them by Spanish conquistadores. TimeDrained is a Danish Progressive Trance project consisting of Rasmus Tue Jørgensen.
The TimeDrained sound can be described as deep, atmospheric and often rather experimental with the emphasis on a danceable foundation and psychedelic evolving track structures and elements. The sound ranges from deep and somewhat dark pulsating trance to uplifting Progressive Trance with grand synth lines and lately even electro or minimalist Tech-elements. The characteristic Scandinavian sound shines through most of the tracks and the ever changing style and sound ensures an exciting and stimulating experience for the listener on the dance floor as well as in the living room.
