Lola Demo is a force to be reckoned with. Her music is a raw, unfiltered dive into the heart of alternative soundscapes.
Hailing from the eclectic underground scene, Lola Demo has carved out a niche that's entirely her own. With a background that defies convention, her journey through the musical realms is anything but ordinary.
Starting with the brooding tones of goth and alt-rock, Lola Demo has evolved her sound into something that transcends genres. She has previously fronted the goth band Ape the Cry (Melb AUS), rocked out with the alt-rock band Hard Candy (Melb AUS), and explored dark electronica with British musician/producer Barry Snaith in their duo, M1NK.
Now splitting her creative energy between Athens, Greece, and the idyllic island of Ithaca, Lola Demo writes and records in her mobile studio, Strudel Girl. Her commitment to her craft is unwavering, aiming to release a new album or EP at least once a year. Her music marries grungy garage grit with hauntingly beautiful melodies, crafting songs that are as biting as they are melancholic.
Lola Demo's lyrics are a journey unto themselves - sharp, stinging, and unapologetically far from the pop mainstream. She thrives on the fringes. She lives for the edge. With influences spanning the entire spectrum of sound, Lola Demo is not just an artist; she's a sonic alchemist.

Timeface Project stands for the Greek musician and sound designer Georgios Garganopoulos who was born in Rüsselsheim (Germany) 12/30/1967.

In the beginning of the 80s, the artist discovered his passion for the drums and started to play in various rock & pop bands at an early age.

At the same time, he went to a private music school where he extended his know-how and additionally learned to play the percussions.

The artist was inspired to compose music by himself when bands like Depeche Mode, New Order, OMD, Yazoo, Human League, Kraftwerk, etc. popped up in Germany in the Mid-80s. He bought his first synthesizer, a Korg Poly 800, to arrange sounds and melodies on his own; followed by the synthesizers M1 by Korg and Ensoniq which broadened his repertoire.

With his dear friend, the guitarist Pietro Sapienza, Georgios committed most of his spear time to playing music. In 1989 the first professional recording took place in a friend’s small studio. Fun and the success of recording the first tracks was more important than all the hard work of this night.

From 1990 to 1997 Georgios actively played the drums and percussions in the Greek music scene and was on stage with numerous popular Greek musicians. In 1997 the artist pulled out of the active music scene but returned in 2003 with new energy and full of creative and new ideas. Up to now, Georgios produces songs and sounds in his home Studio.
