Premiere: LEGWRK "On & On feat. RZ"

The night was cold and dark as he wandered through the forest. He’d been out here for hours, seeking refuge from the monster which lurked within. Never had he imagined that it might end up here, like some sort of twisted slasher flick. He ran between the trees, pondering whether he might ever see the light of day again and make it out alive.

Was it all a dream? Was he really here?

In the distance he heard the whirring of the machine as it sparked to life once again. It was time to run once more…

Fibre Optixx had one of the hottest releases of the year on Kann with the ‘Body Thing’ EP. Now the label is set to release a new record called ‘Crystaline’ which further evolves the fast and furious sound which caught the attention of dj’s and dancers alike.

To celebrate the a special national holiday from Portugal, April 25, the Freedom Day (Dia da Liberdade) marking his 50th anniversary, we receive, David Rodrigues. 

It was a peaceful military coup that took place on April 25, 1974, which ended the authoritarian regime known as the Estado Novo, leading to the establishment of a democratic government in Portugal. David is native from Coimbra and is renowned as one of the city's most dedicated DJs and persistent promoters over the past two decades. He leads Cosanostra events, collaborates closely with Soniculture, and has played key roles in organizing events like the Senses festival and the Beyond series, which showcased top-tier national and international talent in Coimbra. Additionally, he occasionally performs with DJ Tone Hettman as Duodub and collaborates with MC G.Spot as Hedonic2. Since 1999, David has also been a radio broadcaster at Radio University of Coimbra, hosting programs such as Pangrama dedicated to electronic music. Welcome David.

To celebrate 5 years as a project and 4 years as a label, Timeless O'Clock brings an EP from the Belgium based Portuguese Cassulle. Featuring this EP we have Jorge Flukso (also Portuguese and Belgium based) and Setaoc Mass adding his remixes.

Phantom Troupe EP introduces 4 tracks from Cassulle where a bold force is evident. Combining sharp drums we can listen a dynamic flow between mental and organic groove dissonances, and abnormal reverberations leading to an expedition to percussive affairs. The result is a vibrant EP with an exercise that keeps the emphasis on solid and dense rooms that will put the dance floor on rush time.

Jorge Flukso brings a mental sided track and Setaoc Mass being in the pipeline for so long brings what the best describe him as an artist in the game for so long and we couldn't be more happy to celebrate this 5th anniversary with you all.

Solo Remains are previously unreleased tracks from Nils Frahm’s album Solo, which was recorded on the M370, the world’s largest piano, built by the visionary piano maker David Klavins in 1987.

Nils fell in love with the sound of this giant and joined David for the new project – building an even higher piano – the Model 450. The aim of it is to explore the not yet reached physical limits of the piano instrument and also to push forward into new musical dimensions. The M450 will be characterized by an even clearer sound with more depth and richness of overtones as well as an unrivaled frequency spectrum and intensity of sound and tone. In time for the 2nd anniversary of Piano Day, Nils decided to give four previously unreleased songs from that very session to his fans and supporters of the Klavins 450 project.

“In the end, every album production leaves you with the same tough task – making the choices for the final track selection. You leave out some tracks for various reasons: some of the tracks are wonderful by themselves, but they simple don’t fit anywhere in the album and others have to be left out because otherwise the vinyl would become too long for a cut in good quality. However, these outtakes are often as important as the final selection and I thought, they might be a great surprise for Piano Day too. I hope in this case, it’s both …”
