Originally from Rome, Italy and now based in Liverpool, Riccard.o0 is an independent artist and creative founder of forward-thinking techno collective INIQUITY. Their nights have hosted the likes of D.Dan, Marie Montexier and Nene H, with their next night set to host Quelza and Ruben Ganev.

Inspired by experimental and boundary pushing productions, his DJ sets always tell a story, starting from the deep dark ends of unconventional sounds to broken and hypnotic techno.

Continuous Return (formerly known as Frida Carlo) grew up and got in touch with the “techno mindset“ in the Geheimclub Magdeburg 4 years ago. Now the 22 year old artist is hiding most of the time in his apartment in Berlin and trying to discover the mystic universe of sounds more deeply to create some meditative electronic journeys.

@Emkay.92 (22) was born in Oldenburg but currently lives in Berlin. He discovered DJing for himself at the beginning of 2020. His first contact with techno was in 2015 at the Unartig parties in Oldenburg. Then he taught himself how to DJ, started producing and recently published his first self-release on Bandcamp. His music is inspired by the idea of free expression and his sets create a deep, hypnotic and often playful atmosphere.

Almost celebrating 4 years of O’Clock, we have this month TM.

The artist assembles an immersive spectrum where ambient, deep, and hypnotic form a journey where we dive into guided atmospheres. Founded O’Clock in 2019, this label appears as an organic extension of his passion as a DJ and music collector. Presenting a home for music and people he knows through his music path, the project represents his vision as a way of being between his community.

TM represents his concept perceived as a medium where he represents himself by the trademark symbol ™ that embodies variations of deep hypnotic rhythms telling a story from life momentum experiences.

Dj and Producer

Antonino Giacalone aka HANTON is an Italian producer and dj. His beats are hypnotic and his sound could bring you in a spaceship. His music has been released by  many labels such as Subsist, Platform 22 Collapse, TMM, West Rules, Art21.
Sci-fi is a key word in his music which has been played by legendary artists such as Oscar Mulero, Luke Slater, DVS1, James Ruskin, Arnaud Le Textier, TWR72 and many others.

S07 | HANTON | Sparc Mix Series

My next guest on Yax Invites is OMVR, aka Ahmet Ömür, a DJ from Istanbul, Turkey. 

His passion for electronic music since his teenage years led him to create his own journeys behind the decks. His style can be defined as a mix of techno on the basis that has a little trance background. His sound varies from tribal, hypnotic, psy melodies to more hard-hitting, fast and dark rhythms. This range of tunes is often accompanied by motifs from Turkish or Middle Eastern music. But in this mix, he preferred solely hypnotic grooves to create an atmospheric journey with machine-like sounds.
