For mix number 16 in the PPRZ Podcast series, we have a mix from Italy's @lensis

Lensis is a musical project created by Francesco Giannuzzi, born in Varese in 1987.  His journey began in 2009, playing at various clubs and festivals between Varese and Milan.  His DJ sets are characterized by acid, dark, Detroit, rave, and electro sounds, influenced by IDM and ambient music. 

In 2012, he released his first tracks, "So Acid" and "Another Taunt," on P.T.R. (Physical Techno Recordings).  In 2015, he co-founded the Fluctus Soul label with his friend Marco Bove, releasing the EP "Haneke" and the 2018 EP "Cosmic Research." The latter featured a notable remix by G-MAN, a member of the renowned British duo LFO. DJ MAG magazine reviewed it as follows: "a selection of galactic Techno and supercharged energy with enough dynamism and flair to take any party to a higher plane." A preview of the single "Neptune" was also released.  

In 2020, Lensis participated in and won the remix contest for the single "Blaze" by Marco Bailey & David Schwarz, released on the MATERIA label.  In 2022, Lensis released two new EPs on Sector Audio and Diffuse Reality Records.  Francesco collaborates with Tech Clubbers as a resident DJ and co-organizer of their events.

KINGA is a DJ from Budapest, Hungary. She first encountered techno approximately 14 years ago by seeking Middle-European artists like Rumenige, Lotktibrada and his alias Olga + Jozef. This was the starting point to deep dive into the genre and become familiar with producers like Oscar Mulero, DVS1, The Advent, Industrialyzer and Takaaki Itoh, just to mention some of her early influences. Having 7 years experience behind her back in DJing, her breakthrough moment happened when she won a Hungarian DJ contest which allowed her to gain visibility. In 2021 she launched with her friends SYNAPSE, a Hungarian techno event series, introducing international artists representing progressive sounds with the aim of enriching the local scene and provinding new ideas into the clubbing life. Next to this she holds another project called MoCsKT, a techno podcast stream dedicated to bringing new faces coming from the Hungarian scene.

INVERNO (no pronouns) means winter in Portuguese, but their performances and productions are far from being cold and static.
Their multifaceted knowledge of music is reflected in their sets, which are enigmatic, genre-fluid and creative. As well as in their playful and genre-panning productions.
Eager to experiment and explore the full spectrum of Techno, INVERNO likes to blend boundaries between deep/hypnotic and hard/industrial Techno.
Having a natural understanding for groove and harmonies, they weave together tracks focusing on story-telling and rhythm.
INVERNO is the head of KLEM, an experimental label about Ambient, Lofi and Techno.
They contributed to several VA compilations with Ambient and Industrial Techno tracks.
In 2019, INVERNO founded BLVSH collective, whose mission is to grow the exposure,
peer support and promotion of FLINTA* talents.
Mentioned in the “Newcomers list for 2023” of Groove Mag Germany, INVERNO recently played in TRESOR, Renate and OXI club, to name a few.
