Residual Birth is an LA-based dj and hardware performer. Informed by the multi-genre cohesion of the Oakland noise scene and underground raves of the Bay Area, Residual Birth reflects on joy, rage, and revelry. Preferred settings include alleyways, forests, warehouses, parking structures, freeway underpasses, and the occasional above-ground venue.

known as 'atso,' hails from Porto, where he discovered his innate inclination towards hypnotic compositions and entrancing beats.

What began as a modest hobby has now evolved into an unwavering passion and commitment to the art of DJing.

In addition to his personal journey, Ricardo is an integral part of the Porto collective known as Analytical Convenience (@analytical-convenience). 
This collaborative effort has added a new dimension to his artistic endeavors, providing a platform for shared creativity and exploration within the local scene.

Recently, embarked on a new venture by launching a project called MO;MENTO (@momento_porto) with @o-aag, focusing on live streamings and organizing vibrant parties. This initiative represents a fresh chapter in his musical story, combining the electronic soundscape with the vibrant energy of Porto's nightlife. Through MO;MENTO, Ricardo continues to elevate consciousness, shedding light on the diverse tapestry of human emotions, all while embracing a genuine dedication to authentic artistic expression.
