Shami©  (a.k.a. Shami Noir) is a musician and visual artist who uses street art to promote both his music and the larger idea of self identity and awareness. Since launching a successful street art campaign 1 year ago, the Northwest Side native has become a fixture of Chicago’s cityscape. Shami’s mysterious visage and suit-clad likeness have graced public spaces from Chicago, Los Angeles, New Orleans, New York, Germany, London, Greece, The Dominican Republic among other locations. as a brand he continues to build, gaining loyal followers daily. Shami has established himself as a mysterious Music Producer, DJ, Photographer, Socialite, Public Administrator, Contemporary Street Artist, and Branding Consultant. The LP builds on the characteristics of ambient sounds and is laden with experimental beats that showcase the range of hip hop, indie-rock and electronic influences that have hooked so many thus far. Listen with headphones.  I use terrible recording equipment because I'm broke, but some of what I'm trying to do comes through a little better if you have a good set of headphones on.  Lyrics are sometimes in the description, if you're into that sort of thing.  Viva la resistance.
