With over two decades behind the decks, Shlomi Aber is a key figure in underground electronic music. Known for his fast, three-deck mixing and distinctive sound, he has shaped modern techno with releases on respected labels like Klockworks, Blueprint, CLR, R&S, Figure, Cocoon, Ovum, and Drumcode, alongside his long-running imprint Be As One, a benchmark for quality techno worldwide.

Now based in Barcelona, his work has earned recognition across the industry, including DJ Mag’s Best Newcomer (2005), Producer and Track of the Year (2007), Beatport Artist of the Year (2008), and Best Techno DJ at the Sankeys Ibiza DJ Awards (2014 & 2015). 

In this set, Aber mixes 23 tracks across three decks and a loop machine over a little more than an hour. The journey moves from deep, raw techno to a more energetic pace that reflects his current focus, blending moods and textures he has been drawn to lately.

We welcome Colombian techno master Adriana Lopez to Warm Up with this brilliant EP, five tracks that expose her own approach to techno sound, apart from temporary tendencies, with a character that is scientific and abstract and therefore timeless by definition.

This EP is a well-crafted combination of roughness and distortion with introspection and calm. It escalates from the glitchy pulses of the title track of the EP to the beatless and self-defining Quietly, with three sound missiles in the middle.

Negative Publicity is the first of those, minimal in the number of components but maximal in the effect provided. She works with the structure through subtle, almost imperceptible changes, enough to make the six minutes feel like a breeze.

No Fear comes next, again using just the necessary pieces to form the ammunition required for the mission: the right dose of distortion, the relentless sequences, the rhythmic tension…

Going Further is the third danceable exercise: metallic and merciless, deeply rooted in the finest UK tradition, pure pressure and machine funk mashed together.

A passionate record collector with an eclectic taste spanning jazz, reggae, hip-hop, rock, and, of course, house and techno, Elisa Bee @xelisabeex is equally captivated by the rich sounds of the past and the experimental waves shaping the future of music. Moving fluidly through ever-evolving creative landscapes, she has been DJing for over 17 years—starting in her native Sardinia before making her mark in Milan.

Elisa’s productions have garnered international recognition, earning airplay on dancefloors and radio stations worldwide. Her music has been released on esteemed labels such as Symbolism, Hardgroove, Truncate, Unknown To The Unknown, Balkan Vinyl, I Love Acid, and ANAØH. In recent years, her sound has evolved towards techno with a strong 90s influence, driven by her deep love for hardgroove. Her latest projects include a collaborative EP with Detroit legend Rolando, released in late 2024, alongside numerous remixes and solo tracks.

Resident Advisor has recently recognised her as one of the finest selectors and producers in Italy: "[...] exploring and then refining a style of techno that has that rare, hard to put your finger on quality: a soulful reverence that pays homage to the old days and the originators without just copying them".

As a resident DJ at Tempio Del Futuro Perduto in Milan, Elisa’s all-night sets are described as immersive journeys: “acid, very groovy, sometimes dark, always energetic, and dreamy towards the end.” A regular at Berghain since 2023, she has showcased her signature sound through some of the most respected podcast series, including HATE, Awakenings, Slam Radio, and RA Podcast.

Having his musical roots in songwriting, MAUER finally fell for Techno after a somewhat life-changing trip to Berlin. The influences of the city's club culture can still be heard in his sets. But the Warsaw-Based DJ and resident of Smolna club has long developed a very own and distinct approach to electronic music. Characterized by minimalistic synths and tribal-esque drum rhythms, it is deep and hypnotic, yet driving.

Walter Perlitz (one half of China Shipping Line ) belongs to the new generation keeping the spirit of the underground alive in Halle, and we're damn glad he is. The young DJ's raw sound leaves genres long forgotten, mixing up squelchy acid tracks and more driving electroid cuts without skipping a beat. His musical knowledge runs deep, and is in full effect on Lostcast #46 - a seriously wild ride through the dance music gauntlet. It's a good way to pass the time til we can catch him behind the decks again, grinning earnestly as he mixes in the next dancefloor killer.
