The ever-reliable Katakana Edits crew returns, this time with a quartet of goodtime funk reworks from Berlin-based edit fiend Voodoocuts. James Brown gets a going over on "Voodoosexmachine", a flute-laden re-cut of the Godfather of Funk's best-known tune. Another familiar favourite - check the snaking sax line, as sampled by The 45 King on B-Boy classic "The 900 Number" - is given a dancefloor touch-up on "Blow Ya Woopie", while "Get Up Brother" turns a cover version of Bob Marley's "Get Up, Stand Up" into a deep, bassy, fluid house jam. Finally, there's more bumpin' rare funk business on the ludicrously bottom-heavy "Stay Excited".

It’s been 3 years since BadboE shook the funky breakbeat world with his first full-length album Break The Funk (2009). Since then, he’s stayed on top of his game as one of the key players in the scene, recognised for his unique raw type of funky breaks laced with a good dose of b-boy flavour and strong roots in old skool funk and soul. At the same time BadboE has been touring the world with his block rockin’ DJ-set and released tracks on all major funky breaks labels including Bombstrikes, Good Groove, Baffin Beat Brigade and Bombastic Jam as well as remixing tunes by Layo & Bushwacka on Juno Records & GMF feat. BadboE is now ready to drop his long-anticipated second album Pump Up The Funk, which will once again cause a stir and up the ante by combining BadboE’s sampling techniques with original vocals and live instrumental recordings. On this album, BadboE has managed to flow seamlessly from classic funky breaks through glitchy ghetto funk to Soul, Disco, Reggae, Jazz and even Swing. It all blends perfectly under BadboE’s treatment, and delivers the diversity that a good album should have.

Pump Up The Funk features a wide range of vocalists from all over the world with one common goal – to add a new chapter to the much-loved story of funk and soul. Street poet and live performer MC Kitch from Australia, drops rhythmic party rap on the Introduction and Ghetto Funkalicious tunes while the UK's talented MC Coppa lays down his trademark dynamic vocals on summer jam One Of Those Days. USbased Leon The Pro, slams some b-boy rapping on soul cut In A Hurry, Italian MC Rayna gets her swing on in the Hit It Maestro jam and Claire G Phunk from Australia, delivers soulful vocals on Ghetto Funk Joint Whatcha Gonna Do For Me. Finally Michael DeVellis and vocalist Nina Zeitlin from New York get
busy on the groovy What's It Gonna Be. 

Throughout the album, multi-talented Michael DeVellis, lays down live-recorded horns, strings, keys and flutes to create original soul and funk on the tracks. Furthermore, BadboE has gone back to sample some diamonds from rare old funk and soul 45’s to ensure the presence of those authentic magical vibes from
back in the day. As if that wasn’t enough, BadboE even takes on the challenge of recreating the Hunk Fop tune by German funk group Grand Slam from the original master tapes.

The result is cast iron proof that the funk is still very much alive in 2012 in a vital contemporary form. The ghetto funk genre is now a worldwide phenomenon with active scenes in Europe, Canada and Australia and word spreads further by the day. As long as BadboE is around, it's a certified fact that there will be enough funky street jams around to get the whole world on board to celebrate the funk!

Timewarp inc returns with his third full length album “Ghetto Drunk”, after a long period (over four years ago) since the previous successful album “Groovy Booty” back in 2008. The story of modern nufunk, broken beats, nu disco, nujazz and dub, all mixed up together, that's Timewarp's sound signature, continues with new material that will give you a true experience between contemporary music to dance electronica, for maximum listening pleasure, not only for clubs and bars but also for your lounge sofa.

The album contains sixteen tracks with some interesting great collaborations, with the Dutch vocalist Tonkin on the self titled and intoxicated Ghetto Drunk song, The Time Travellas from Belgium appears on Hipsko with live rhymes recorded with realtime fx, and the multi instrumentalist French artist Leon on Disco Frisco.

In the tracks Kotzak, Yuil Disco Breaks and Hot Spot you can hear the participated musicians: Salomi Vasiliadou (Vocals), Tasos Fotiou (Sax, Flute), Lusty Apricot (Violin on Kotzak), Kimon Pandelides (Guitar on Dubwizejah, Hot Spot, Kotzak), StelX (Guitar on Start With An A), Stoney The Flute (Flute on Chase in the Case), Kostas Kopanaris (Percussions on Kotzak) Dj KomMit (Scratches on Kotzak, Start With An A).

Timewarp Music is the premier record label for nu funk, dub, breaks, nu disco,  nu jazz & freestyle grooves in contemporary electronic music. 

It’s the creation of Angelos 'Timewarp' Stoumpos (aka Timewarp inc) since 2004, Timewarp Music, was inspired by the fresh Nu-Funk ,Dub & Freestyle Electronic music stream.

The producers that complete Timewarp Music family are spread all around the world, while some of them have been introduced in the discography, others have international careers with some of their tracks to be a 'must' for every freestyler that respects himself. With an impressive artist roster that counts more than 50 main artists and 200 hundred remixers to date.

The past 14 years, since 2004 up to now, Timewarp Music has released more than 10 CD’s, one 7” vinyl. Apart from the physical product Timewarp Music was one of the first independent record label that believed and invested in digital discography... and was prooved right, through the impressive digital catalogue, that  and counts more than 180 digital releases and more than 1500 tracks, many times featured in the top charts in Funk, Downtempo, Disco, Breaks, House & Electronica Charts in the biggest digital retail music stores and streaming services across the world, like I-Tunes, Beatport, Junodownload, Spotify, E-music, Traxsource and so on.
