Back in the day... there was a very experimental, inventive twosome called "Chuck Wagon & The Marine Biologist" that came about as Monty's Chillum started to dissolve.

Constrained only by the 4 walls of 1 of their Mothers living room, this is 1 of the things they came up with. Too long, horribly disjointed and suffering from excess synthetic effects. Nevertheless, it remains a thing of beauty to me. 

As the man says, "....Belonging to a sect of Philosophers called cynics..."

Wise Old Head

Recorded in Longsight, Manchester, late 80's/ early 90's. Tim came to visit for the weekend (or day, or afternoon, whatever...). I was ready with some natural chemical enhancements plus various contemporary gadgetry, including a TR505 drum machine, a Kawai K1 synth, A Roland Juno 106 (I think? or was that in London?) plus a spiders web of leads across the floor. Also got burgled around this time but hey, let's focus on the positive...

Happy Campers

Singer/Songwriter, guitarist, producer, half of Hoochie Fig.

I've been writing, performing and recording music since the early 1990's, though since 2000, most of my work has been as Hoochie Fig, with creative partner Keith Paton (Hoochie Fig has its own Soundcloud profile -see the links above).

This space is for my solo projects, which don't fit into the Hoochie Fig bag; and for my pre-Fig music, which I am currently digitizing and  re-mastering from multitrack analogue tape.

So, they'll be some odds and sods appearing here, some of it pretty lo-fi. Hopefully though, it'll all be entertaining for one reason or another!
