Timid Deer are an original indie band from Salisbury consisting of vocalist Naomi Henstridge, Tim Milne (piano), Tom Laws (double bass), Matt Jackson (guitar) and Chris Hart (drums). Recently compared to the likes of London Grammar, Cinematic Orchestra and Portishead. they released their melancholy-sounding 'Melodies For The Nocturnal Pt 1' EP in 2019. A follow-up 'Melodies... Pt. 2' will be released in early 2022.

All in all, if STiiLBiRD had lived in the balmy days of the horse drawn wagons, he might have been a sculptor revelling in the plenty of reasons for life and travelling far and wide upon the back of a wild dappled grey horse, deciphering the bird song and writing novels in soliloquy while metering the road’s between his deal’s, meals and lovers. Singing his way across the land.

Steven: J-Watts (aka) STiiLBiRD is a SingerSongwriter of the old school. style writing original & melodic songs with heartfelt poignant lyrical content. For much of his formative life, Steve has performed as a Session Musician, playing Guitar,Bass, Dulcimer, Harmonica and Keyboards. He has toured with great Musicians and Bands with Major Record Deals!
steve has worked in some great UK Studios such as Crescent Studios, Battle Studios, Liverpool Rd studio, Abbey Rd etc STiiLBiRD now realises his creative musical output via a Mac Home Studio and the Internet.

Experimental layering of field recordings and ambient sounds is interwoven with light and sparkling acoustic guitar melodies. All in all, this results in a very organic sound structure. Great one for headphone listening, as many of Pan, EQ and other effects details are buried deep in the mix. Contemplative, meditative, sunny and peaceful - like a walk in the woods
