The Binnacle List plays indie-rock as it sounded in the mid 90's, drawing inspiration from names such as Weezer and The Pixies. But apart from those bands, the sound of TBL is it at times somewhat grandious and tends to lead your mind towards the likes of The Killers and Manic Street Preachers. In other words, their sound is nostalgic, in the most positive sense.

The band was formed in 2010 by former members of Marvins Revolt and Swimm TV Ish TV.

The forthcoming 5-track EP is the third one recorded and mixed by Jacob ”Snake” Nielsen (Lack, Rising, Anchorless, Total Heels a.o.) at the Copenhagen based studio French Fingers.
