Can't Stop is Jonathan Kaspar's debut EP on Maeve.

The title track runs to almost 12 mins and although debated and discussed many times, both the artist and label felt the track needs this length to fully intoxicate a dance floor. It is, in short, a trip.

Mano Le Tough steps up on remix duties for Can't Stop and delivers his signature magic touch. Littered with live percussive elements, it takes the original to deeper hypnotic level before firing the machines into life and surprising the listener with a soaring hook and glittering melodies.

Come Close is a straight up, heads down techno roller, made for late nights and hazy mornings in special dancing spaces. Rounding off the release is, "Too Late But Sorry", a sweet track that is reminiscent early Kompakt records in its beauty and pace.

All four tunes have their place in any DJ set and already have found an adoring audience the world over, it's fair to say we are extremely proud to have this on Maeve.

The latest compilation album in COD3 QR's "Artist Cod3" series is, as always, focused on eclecticism, open-mindedness, divergence and non-conformity.  The usual wide range of electronic music is featured with Drum & Bass don Calibre opening up the release with Dub, followed by Techno from Seroplexx and Costello, a more Detroit style vibe from Jim Rivers, Deep House from Subground_3000, while Marcellus, and Melatron & Ancient Artefacts complete the vinyl package with Leftfield beats.   

Bonus digital tracks come from Subground_3000 once more, plus some melodious Techno from Oliver Way & Dany Rodriguez.

All the tracks have been handpicked by Laurent Garnier and Scan X.

The 10 year celebration continues with a hybrid live recorded set from German dab hand Vril. Much of his work, like the metaphysical and culturally seminal substance from which he took the name, is heavy on duality, hard and gentle, vibrating with machinelike power and shot through with a raw and often tender emotion. It’s a calculation that has yielded some of the most unforgettable sounds of recent times, 2018’s heavy-hitting Anima Mundi or last year’s Animist have lost none of their soul-stirring resonance, and his purist techno reaches far beyond his published work. Live and in flow state, he carries just as strong a charge, a frothing, fulgurant techno that invokes awe and measures in colossal proportions. Leave aside collabs with Rødhåd and Sebastian Mullaert for Circle of Live, though the magic’s there too. It’s an arcane and ghostly sound that burrows into the soul and leaves its mark, and in his scores of fans and 51 toured countries, it has. For Bassiani Podcast 237 the haunting power of his work finds form in 92 minutes of visceral techno that rolls from crystalline form to brooding storm. The sound of a new world dawning just beyond our current horizon.

VNTM is an Amsterdam based live act and musician that has been playing his take on techno at numerous big festivals and venues around the globe, performing only his own music trough a captivating livesetup. His sound is rich in texture and based around progressive and detailed sounddesign. 

He’s currently hosting his own Mindscape event-series at one of Amsterdam’s finest venues called Lofi. The concept has been a home to Len Faki’s Figure crew, Luigi Tozzi, Vril., Laura BCR, Polygonia, Recondite, Mathew Jonson, Sterac, Rod, Kink and many more. 

In this mix you’ll find a blend of new unreleased work that will be part of his Open Source Project, a year-long monthly release string in which VNTM is allowing anyone to take the stems of the music and repurpose the sounds in any way one can possibly imagine. A true homage to creative collaboration, remixing and sampling culture.
