Here we go with our very first exclusive premiere and we've got a corker to get things rolling. Venezuelan duo Fur Coat have kindly given us the first play of the title track from their forthcoming EP 'There's No Time', which is coming out on Jamie Jones' ever popular Hot Creations label.

This new track is a perfect example of their love affair with the sleazier side of house music, razor sharp synth lines cascade over a hefty set of percussion and a rumbling, morose b-line while a pitched-down, barely audible vocal lurks in the background. TRYPTICH writes .....After almost 10 years of banging my head against the wall that is Drum & Bass, I decided to drop the bpm by 65 and continue making exactly the same kind of music I had always made.
To my delight, i discovered that slower BPMs seemed to attract people with more open minds who were willing to enjoy music for the musical content rather than purely from a production point of view.
Since that moment, i've been thoroughly enjoying creating weird and wonderful beats that hopefully sit in a little niche all of their own. 
I imagine a lot of people won't like this niche, but to the people that do like and understand and want to skank to my music.....it's all for you!!

From the lush, green embrace of the Dandenong Ranges, emerges Timmus, a sonic architect mapping the uncharted territories of sound. His name, a subtle reversal of "summit," hints at a collective climb, a voyage into the heart of vibration. "Music is the air in every breath," he declares, a testament to a life lived in resonant harmony.

As the owner and director of the Australian label Smash Bang Records, Timmus is a prolific artist with a diverse range of sonic explorations. He crafts and performs under various aliases, each a unique facet of his artistic vision: Sacred Summit, Micro Jaxon, Swingtime Paradigm, and Psymus Drummit. He also lends his rhythmic prowess as the hybrid drummer for The Oddness & Band.

These projects, along with his solo work, showcase his ability to seamlessly blend genres and push the boundaries of sonic exploration.
He is a weaver of sound, a collector of auditory fragments, a builder of sonic sanctuaries. From the tender age of four, nestled in the quiet of rural Victoria, he crafted instruments and captured sonic impressions on cassette. By twelve, he was sculpting sonic landscapes with digital tools, foreshadowing his future as a master of auditory alchemy.

Timmus is a prism, refracting sound into a spectrum of artistic expressions.
