My apologies for having been real slow with uploading new mixes, but I feel this next one has most definitely been worth the wait! 🥳

It's my personal favorite and also the most varied and powerful Ecstatic Dance DJ mix I played thus far. I had the honor to play this as my very first Ecstatic Dance DJ-set for the Ecstatic Dance Groningen crew and an absolutely wicked wild audience at my old hometown up north in the Netherlands. A city that I have known for many years and for its people loving real good, powerful and no-nonsense music. A city full of dancers that really wanna go for it all the frigging way.....and oh boy, did they honor the reputation I know them so well for! 

The dancefloor turned into an absolute stark raving mad frenzy during quite a few tracks, but definitely most of all during the manic mad mayhem tune of Dirtyphonics. Guys that got some serious balls and managed to mix drum&bass and deathmetal together in the most incredible way possible. It's a reaaaaaaaaaal monster folks and you'll hear it in the very last part of this mix. 

I was kinda afraid to play the tune due to its immense intensity, but wow, people were almost flying up against the walls, that's how insanely wild and mental they went while dancing and bouncing around on it, all in good positive spirit though. And it was the absolute cherry on the pie of an awesome, fabulous and unforgettable night.

Yes, this Ecstatic Dance mix does come with a warning as mentioned above, but it's not all about intensity though. There's tons of different sorts of tunes in all kinds of genres, from very soft and tender to full power dance tracks and there's surely something for everyone's taste.

But in case you're a sonic sissy, you might wanna skip this one though.... 😜

From the lush, green embrace of the Dandenong Ranges, emerges Timmus, a sonic architect mapping the uncharted territories of sound. His name, a subtle reversal of "summit," hints at a collective climb, a voyage into the heart of vibration. "Music is the air in every breath," he declares, a testament to a life lived in resonant harmony.

As the owner and director of the Australian label Smash Bang Records, Timmus is a prolific artist with a diverse range of sonic explorations. He crafts and performs under various aliases, each a unique facet of his artistic vision: Sacred Summit, Micro Jaxon, Swingtime Paradigm, and Psymus Drummit. He also lends his rhythmic prowess as the hybrid drummer for The Oddness & Band.

These projects, along with his solo work, showcase his ability to seamlessly blend genres and push the boundaries of sonic exploration.
He is a weaver of sound, a collector of auditory fragments, a builder of sonic sanctuaries. From the tender age of four, nestled in the quiet of rural Victoria, he crafted instruments and captured sonic impressions on cassette.
