It's not that simple when you're caught in limbo. Don't know what to think, and you're growing distant. Stuck in the middle, incommunicative and non-committal. Can't make any decisions.

Far far away...while the world goes on without me. Am I going? Or am I staying? Clue me in lady, cause this state of doubting is making my heart swing from one extreme to the other extreme. This can't be just a dream, but I'm not certain that I've quite awakened.

I awoke with the notion I'd metamorphosed into a ghost. You held me close with no warmth, and the words that I spoke went unheard. You were the first to notice the scarecrows, but you fought through those until you were home. Now it's my fault, I dug this hole. I'm not trying to stem your flow of emotions, I'm just trying to fix what is broke.

Ghost Awoke
