"Did you ever hear of solfeggio frequencies? They use specific sound patterns to help stimulate, exposing your brainwaves to a range of beneficial frequencies. From there, these vibrations travel through the body, promoting circulation, energy flow, and rejuvenation. Even though those frequencies are not necessarily primary in those 3 hours the destiny is. 

Having worked those outstanding productions in many different combinations over the years, it took a long time to finally share them together in an open air setting. 

I'm still getting excited from the shared memories of vibrating in a beautiful valley of the Provence on the power of klape nunsen's soundsystem, all formed by a beautiful connection of life. Waking up in misty clouds riding to a rising sun, subculture is strong and alive!"

테크노의 성지로 불리는 저명한 클럽 Bassiani의 레지던트 아티스트 HVL은 2009년 데뷔한 이래 트빌리시 클럽 씬을 중심으로 급격하게 번성하고 있는 테크노 무브먼트의 선두에 서 있다. HVL은 오랜 시간동안 다양한 장르와 스타일을 탐구해왔고, 라이브 공연과 DJ 세트를 통해 만들어진 그의 독보적인 사운드는 그동안 Bassiani Records, Rough House Rosie, Tabernacle Records, Organic Analogue와 같은 언더그라운드 전초기지에서 발매된 솔로 앨범들을 통해 잘 드러나고 있다.⠀

The long-awaited 55th episode of the kkum Podcast returns with a 57-minute ambient DJ set from HVL, based in Tbilisi, Georgia.

HVL (Bassiani / Tbilisi)
First coming to attention as a member of Okinawa Lifestyle duo in 2009, Bassiani/Horoom resident Gigi Jikia a.k.a HVL has become a leading voice of thriving techno movement centered around Tbilisi club scene. Since starting solo career in 2013, HVL was busy exploring more diverse range of genres and styles. His solo releases which have appeared on underground outposts like Bassiani Records, Rough House Rosie, Tabernacle Records and Organic Analogue, have testified to taste that’s also reflected in his Live performances and DJ sets.
The outstanding debut Ostati LP on Organic Analogue Records (2018), intended as a manuscript of the sound of Tbilisi, is a seductive update on the established HVL’s dynamics, centered on outboard house and techno with a noticeably understated mood.
As HVL’s reputation as a solo artist grows, so does his status as a selector and DJ. Jikia has taken his skillfully crafted Live shows and DJ sets to new heights in 2018, hitting up some of the best dancefloors in the world from Berghain and Hï Ibiza to infamous Berlin Atonal.

Basel’s Timnah joins our series with a long-anticipated recording from last year’s inaugural pe:rsona, an intimate gathering from the minds at Positive Education. Over the years Timnah has established a reputation for expansive and visionary selections without equal, lending her voice to the beloved Amentia and A Walking Contradiction collectives and leading audiences into captivating unknowns worldwide. Recorded live in the French countryside at the peak of summer, Timnah’s set smolders with delicate tension, lacing outward like tendrils upon shattering glass. ILAY, a 19 year-old sound artist behind the alias @ilayruni, works at the crossroads of electronic music and percussive instruments. Merging these two worlds, he explores the possibilities of rhythm and sound  Growing up in a family that had a strong bond with the electronic music scene, ILAY had early access to a wide range of styles and sounds, giving him the chance to wander and discover all types of frequencies and feelings. He seeks highly percussive rhythmic patterns that merge with Synthesizers and give place for deep soundscapes.
