Peter and the Wave

The simultaneous telling of two tales.  An American must travel to Japan to identify and claim the body of his dead husband, while fifty years in the past the mayor of a small northern town called Fudai must stand up to naysayers as he attempts to build an unprecedented wall to protect his people from rising tides.  Both men stand up in the face of conventional thinking and popular opinion to be on the right side of history.

A source song, which was written to exist in the world of Peter and the Wave.  A crooner tuner meant to embody what I imagine was a bitter sweet post war mentality in Japan.  Featuring Ellis Gage on vocals.
