'On The One' is the first single to drop from the forthcoming album and features the inimitable vocals of poet and rapper Mr. Auden Allen as well as the soul drenched horns of Renegade Brass Band. 

Debuted on BBC 6 Music when Sam performed a guest mix in April 2021, it seemed the perfect track to debut from Sam’s new record.

With the originals getting props from the likes of DJ Yoda, Fatboy Slim and JFB - it was time to do the do on the remix front and make the whole package even bigger. On 'Feel Good', Krafty Kuts moves away from the slinky p-funk of the original to lay down a more up-tempo funk version, while thatmanmonkz replaces the funk sample of the original with a driving house groove.

Over on 'Back In The Day', Smoove does exactly what his Old School mix says on the tin, dropping classic hip hop samples into the mix. George Solar finished off the package with a dubby slo-mo balearic mix perfect for downtempo sets on the island he calls home.

Using some, nay, ALL of the skills I picked up in @Featurecast's Patreon this month, I put together this fun little edit of two tunes I love a lot. 

This is a mid tempo reFunk of two songs that have vastly different BPMs and would not normally see each other in the wild. I did a fun little re drum for this, added some vocals and fx, and smashed it all up for your listening pleasure. 

Big Love to Marvel Years for his original tune "The Switch Up" and also to the homie Wuki for his "Tricky" remix - each were key ingredients for this funky rework <3
