Ritty Ganz hails from the Lost Borough of Rochester, NY.He is an accomplished MC who has been around the Rochester Hip Hop scene for well over 20 years. Coming from an era where skills meant something, he started out as a MC, honing his skills alongside other underground legends in ciphers as well as the legendary battles that took place in the heart of the city (Midtown). Ritty Ganz earned the respect of his peers a long time ago so he has nothing to prove these days. When it comes to his production, Ritty (or NightOwl™ as he has called himself) goes back to the 90's. In the tradition of Pete Rock and Primo, he samples, chops and reconstructs. He has been in the shadows of the Rochester Hip Hop scene for the past 10 years.....Watching,listening and he is not happy. Ritty says "Man, it's like this: cats be tryinn' so hard to sound like other cats who already famous in their own right that they fail to create their own lane" Recently added to the HEXX conglomerate, Ritty is back .....with a mission.  To restore the integrity of real Hip Hop in Rochester.
