Badlands 4th studio album "Nobody Dies" is a metafictional journey, tracing rustic folk and post-apocalyptic ambient themes into a bouquet of peculiar lofi-ballads. Inspired by a longing for human primitive musicality, the project embraces a raw sound using old string instruments and electronic scrap; thus exploring our need for authentic expression and synergy in a new fragmented world. Composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Catharina Jaunviksna’s a.k.a Badlands ever-evolving solo project this time invites guest musicians such as Maggie Björklund (Jack White, Mark Lanegan) on pedal steel guitar and folklorist Ida Mitchell on cello. With its distinct streaks of storytelling, along with a pronounced visual presentation by collage artist OSKARP, “Nobody Dies” is blurring the lines between reality and fiction, reflecting on music's role in human identity amid modern challenges.

This album was written, recorded, played, sung, mixed and produced by Catharina Jaunviksna in 2023-2025

The Liquid is a Danish band playing rock, indie, and punk, rooted in the alternative rock scene. With their energetic expression, sharp guitar riffs, and catchy melodies, the band is focused on reestablishing their presence in the Danish music landscape.

Formed in the early 2010s, the band has been inactive in recent years. However, in 2024, The Liquid made a comeback with a new lineup and renewed energy. Per Vibskov joined as the bassist, taking over from Richard "Fridge" Ledger, while Boi Holm stepped in on guitar, replacing Laust Ovesen. These changes have provided the band with a fresh musical perspective while still building on their familiar sound.

Their latest album "tba" showcases their evolution, combining raw energy with mature songwriting. The band's sound has grown to incorporate elements of post-punk and indie rock while maintaining their signature intensity. Tracks like "Stockholm Syndrome" demonstrate their ability to craft memorable hooks while pushing their sonic boundaries.
