By the age of 14, Tim Ross achieved his Piano Grade 5 Theory & Practical which gave him the motivation to start composing and producing song for various local artists in London, England. In 2008 he was awarded the “Young Peoples Choice Award” which gave him the push to start producing and selling instrumentals online. The recognition and co-signs from known producers dominating beat selling charts garnered the attention of Anno Domini Beats in which Tim Ross joined their team for over  7 years giving him the experience and tools to achieve over 3 million streams, 10,000 licenses sold. 

By 2013, Tim Ross had produced, managed and mentored well known upcoming acts dominating the UK music charts today such as Geko, Aystar, K Koke and many more. Using his own experiences coupled with the desire to help youths struggling to realize their potential to grow and develop, motivated him to setup the Express Yourself Music Project which received awards and public recognition. 

After many years working in the UK Music/Arts scene, Tim Ross decided to head out to Thailand for a long well deserved break but by 2015, he was working along side Wyclef Jean & Astro Records producing for known Asian artists such as Ya Ya Ying, MD Mochio and more. By 2016, he had achieved his biggest goal - producing  a track for Twopee & Freddy V (Southside) part of the Thaitanium Music Group.

Feeling fed up with the lack of support for up and coming artists in the community, the members of USG decided to take the music to the next level by forming their own company, USG Entertainment; an independent recording label and all-round entertainment company. The vision behind the concept was for the founders, (who are also recording artists on the label) to form a business that would outlast their careers as recording artists.

To date, the label has distributed solo and group projects of their artists in the form of mixtapes, CDs, digital downloads and audiovisual material for transmission on the internet and satellite television channels.

The artists have taken part in community based initiatives, and aim to continue to participate in and develop youth projects. This compliments the future plans to scout for new talent to add to the label’s roster of artists, which will in turn bring in revenue to invest in and expand the company.

The team are developing and in the process of launching their own clothing line, Unique Street Garments, which is just one of the many projects and ideas they have in the pipeline. Watch this space and be part of the movement as we make history…. the USG takeover has begun!
