In Reverence is the debut contemporary Christian worship album from Segun Akinola and Birmingham Christian Centre which will raise money for Birmingham Central Foodbank, a member of The Trussell Trust.


The Trussell Trust is a charity dedicated to helping anyone who, due to being in a temporary ﬁnancial crisis, is unable to buy one of the basic human necessities: food. Through their network of foodbanks run by local churches around the UK, they are able to ensure that families do not go hungry. As one of over 100 foodbanks that make up this network, Birmingham Central Foodbank supports those living in Ladywood, Soho and the surrounding area including Hockley, Newton and Lozells. 


In Reverence celebrates a diverse range of musical influences with new, exciting arrangements. The album consists of an original song and the following popular worship songs:

In Reverence will be released at a launch concert on Saturday 22nd March at Birmingham Christian Centre at 7:30pm. Tickets will be on sale from Sunday 9th February 2014.


The album will be available as a CD after the concert; it will also be available on iTunes.


All profits from album and ticket sales will be donated to Birmingham Central Foodbank.
