Hopeless Records is an independent record label dedicated to making a positive impact. We are home to artists like Neck Deep, Stand Atlantic, Point North, Fame On Fire, DE'WAYNE, and more. Our page showcases everything that's new and breaking in alt-rock, pop punk, and beyond.

Karetus are Carlos Silva and André Reis. Formed in 2010, the Portuguese duo gained notoriety for their remixes of Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa’s “Young, Wild and Free” and Drake and DJ Khaled’s “I’m on One”.

They then went on to release their highly anticipated Entrudo and Rave On EP’s, both to critical acclaim and with tracks hitting the charts on Beatport. The EPs were shortly followed by an incredibly ambitious remix of Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money” that has reached over 4 million plays on SoundCloud alone.

2015 marked the release of Piñata, the duo's latest album. In the lead up to Piñata, Karetus released one track and video clip per week, which very much helped to build the anticipation to the release of the album. The album itself was extremely well received, having gained support for the likes of Krewella, Oliver Heldens, Don Diablo, Carnage, Ookay and more.

With billions of plays on YouTube and multiple hundreds and thousands of followers on social media is proof that the sky really is the limit for this exciting duo.

Now with an incredible live show that is so much more than a DJ set, they use videos played through CDJ’s which allows them to not only scratch the music but the video too alongside using cue points for the images for an immensely immersive show. By using specialist software and custom made videos for each track, means that no song is ever the same with the band creating incredibly immersive environments for each and every song. 

2015 and 2016 both mark incredible benchmarks for the growth and success of Karetus, on a global scale. With over 150 shows under their belt, the band have graced some of the biggest stages that the world has to offer including but not limited to Bassland in Russia where they were considered upcoming artists of the year as well as Tomorrowland Brasil where the group were personally invited by Diego Miranda and premiered their track “Olé”.

With an incredible number of shows under their belt, a unique sound, style and live element and a rapidly increasing fan base, we are confident you’ll be seeing a lot more Karetus very soon.

We made our first record in 1991, then a lot of things happened.

Dutch/Turkish award winning Dj, record producer and sound designer Ummet Ozcan has stamped  his name on the global electronic music scene with numerous Beatport #1’s and flaunting a prolific catalog of festival anthems. 

In 2014 he delivers a number of solid chart breakers like ‘Raise your Hands’ and  ‘Revolution’ which comes with a classic Mad Max style music video. The massive 2015 tune ‘The Hum’,  in cooperation with Belgium star’s Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, appears to be one of his biggest workings til date. And there are more highly successful joint efforts with other renowned Dj’s with the likes of Calvin Harris, Tiësto and Steve Aoki. 
Rewarded for his relentless dedication he lands the 19th spot in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ’s in 2016, the greatness that is Ummet Ozcan, only grows bigger.

Growing up in the known epicentre of dance music, The Netherlands, it isn’t difficult for Ozcan (1982) to plug into dance music at a young age. Since achieving his first major success in 2011 with ‘Reboot’, a firm #1 on Beatport, the veteran DJ’s major hits have been sampled in his peers’ radio podcasts and played at festival mainstages all over the world. In 2012 his genre-defying #1 smash hit ‘The Box’ is one of the most played records at EDC Las Vegas, while a year later his W&W collab ‘The Code’ is one of the most popular tracks at Ultra Music Festival 2013, followed by the remix of Fatboy Slim’s ‘Eat Sleep Rave Repeat’ together with Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike. In 2014 and 2015 Ozcan sees another amount of his tracks reach the highest chart positions. ’Smash’ and ‘Superwave’  become instantaneous hits, racking up millions of YT views and making it to #1. Also more recent titles like ‘Lose Control’ and ‘Stars’ are sure shots. 2017 brings a number of great releases and a critically acclaimed remix of Axwell & Ingrosso’s ‘More than you know’.

A success story that’s about to enter new grounds as In March 2018 he launches his own imprint ‘OZ Records’ which is a homebase for global Ozcan releases and for other talent. Also 2018 gives birth to his software developing company called ‘OzSoft’ that will be focused on providing gamechanging digital tools for the producers community and beyond. The first release that will make waves is the highly anticipated ‘Genesis Pro’ synth plugin.

With this latest achievement Ozcan passionately proves to be a jack-of-all-trades and keeps contributing greatly to the ever expanding dance music society.

This duo builds a strong force to represent hard hitting house music made in Germany. First getting recognized internationally with their minimalistic peaktime bangers „Toxic Rush“ and „Flashbang“, Jewelz & Sparks established their very own style of production bringing a fresh new twist to the scene. Their approach on producing those huge pounding yet grooving tracks made them become an irreplacable part of the EDM Community in less than a year. Nearly every production they brought to the market since 2012 gained heavy support from dance musics elite DJs. Their tracks get played all over the biggest festival sets from the likes of Fedde Le Grand, David Guetta, Nicky Romero Tiesto or Hardwell just to name a few. After signing up for some original tracks and a remix for Fedde Le Grand on his very own imprint, „Flamingo Recordings“ the highly talented Producer and DJ Duo got recognized by worlds #1 DJ Hardwell and his Label „Revealed Recordings“. „Unless We Forget“, a fresh vocal track and their first release on Hardwells imprint quickly climbed the Beatport charts, putting their name on the map in a league of dance music that proves their talent. 2013 was a memorable year for Jewelz & Sparks. Now the future for these two dance music heavyweights looks brighter than ever especially with their Remix work on Benny Benassi´s classic Hit Single „Satisfaction“ ,which is out on Ultra Records. The duo first produced a Bootleg of the Track just for their sets before getting requested to release it officially on Ultra Records after gaining enormous support in major sets from the likes of Tiesto, Laidback Luke or Fedde Le Grand.
