Something I had to know

We are thrilled to introduce Lise Jonsson, a gifted composer, pianist, and educator from Norway, whose music is deeply inspired by nature, personal journeys, and rich cultural traditions.  

Her latest piece, "Knitting", is a beautifully woven piano composition that mirrors the rhythmic, meditative motion of knitting itself. Just as each stitch connects to the next, forming intricate patterns, every note in this piece unfolds with delicate precision, creating a soothing and reflective atmosphere.  

Norway, the knitting capital of the world, has a long history of this cherished craft, and Lise’s composition embraces its essence—patience, creativity, and warmth. Whether you knit, dream, or simply pause to listen, "Knitting" invites you into a world of quiet beauty and thoughtful inspiration.
