Tim Vitullo is a Pittsburgh-based artist, sideman, and session musician. He has released three records, This is the Thing! (2012), Josephine & Assorted Train Songs (2015), and Running out of Time (2020). His latest release, LUNR ECCOS (2024), is a collaborative ambient, experimental release featuring extended improvisations with drummer Mike Dawson. His band, Tim Vitullo Band, has had the distinct pleasure of performing in over a dozen different states and supporting acclaimed artists such as B.B. King, The Marcus King Band, Jared James Nichols, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Tim Reynolds & TR3, Amanda Shires, Jimbo Mathus, Kelsey Waldon, Cory Branan, Sophie B. Nashville-based singer songwriter Cassidy Dickens views life as a series of interlacing stories—and she just can’t help but write them all down.
 
Raised on an eclectic blend of classic country, bluegrass gospel, and oldies tunes, Cassidy first fell in love with narrative songwriting in the backseat of her dad’s Chevy Lumina while driving through her hometown in southern West Virginia. She was four. The song was “Lonesome Dove” by Garth Brooks. And as her dad helped her understand the complex tale of true love, impassioned revenge, and female strength, she felt a little spark alight in her heart. 
 
From that day on, she’s chased her passion for singing and songwriting all over the U.S., performing throughout Appalachia, the southeast, and the west coast for more than a decade. When her family moved to California during her late teenage years, Cassidy truly found her voice and developed a sound all her own—a rootsy-but-modern, east-meets-west sensibility that marries the sincerity of folk icons like Patty Griffin and Lori Mckenna with the contemporary edge of artists like Alanis Morissette, Jewel, and Natalie Merchant.
 
In her new record, Anxious Love, Cassidy harnesses her innate love of storytelling, poignant lyricism, and uniquely emotional vocals to breathe new life into ancient motifs. Delving into complex topics like grief, longing, nostalgia, homesickness, and all-consuming love, Cassidy sings with the intense passion of youth, but the soul and wisdom of someone many decades her senior.
 
Recorded by fellow Americana artist, songwriter, and producer Ben Justus, Anxious Love was tracked in East Nashville and features instrumentation by Cassidy and Ben, as well as local folk duo Buffalo Gals and accomplished pianist John Deaderick.

A couple years ago I found myself spending countless hours turning acoustic versions of songs I had written into full band demos with nothing but a digital pedal, cheap bass and Sonor 7. As you could imagine, without having a "real" band, what I was able to produce was clunky at best, however, each new track I finished got better and better to the point at which I felt I was on to something. After months of pondering I finally found a studio that would fit my needs and showed up with just my acoustic/click track demos. I was starting from scratch, however, this time I was determined to do it right. We recorded bass, drums and lead vocals (for later use) which created the platform from which to build on. I bought a couple mics and thought myself the best ways to record acoustic and electric guitars. With some help from a couple friends I met along the way we began layering in guitars, piano and backing vocal tracks. Once complete I took all of those tracks back to the studio to for the final mix and mastering process. It took me almost fifteen months to complete, as I had to tightly budget my time and money, but it just goes to show you that anyone can do it!
