It is one of the most popular and expansive fan-made Pokemon RPGs, with hundreds of pages of rules, options, and content.

How to play Pokemon Tabletop United?

 
To play PTU, you will need a group of 2-4 players who will create their own characters (or PCs) to act as their avatars in the game world. You will also need one person who will act as the game master (or GM) who will create and run the game world for the players. You will also need some dice (d4s to d12s), some paper or digital sheets to keep track of your characters and Pokemon stats and abilities, some tokens or miniatures to represent your characters and Pokemon on a grid map (optional), and some imagination and creativity.

 
Creating your character

The first step to playing PTU is to create your character. You will need to choose a name, age, appearance, personality, background, and motivation for your character. You will also need to choose a class, which is a specialization that gives you certain skills, edges, and feats that define your role and abilities as a trainer. There are over 40 classes to choose from, such as Ace Trainer, Breeder, Capture Specialist, Chef, Coordinator, Engineer, Hex Maniac, Martial Artist, Psychic, Ranger, Researcher, and more. You can also combine different classes to create your own unique hybrid class.

 
After choosing your class, you will need to assign your stats. There are six stats that measure your character's physical and mental attributes: HP (health points), Attack (physical damage), Defense (physical resistance), Special Attack (special damage), Special Defense (special resistance), and Speed (initiative and movement). You will have a base value of 5 for each stat, and you can increase or decrease them by spending or gaining stat points. You will also have a Combat Stat Total (CST) that is the sum of your Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed stats. Your CST cannot exceed 50 at character creation.

 
Next, you will need to choose your skills.
