I am a producer/mixer/engineer based at The MIx Room @ Studio45 - A 4 rooms recording studios home to Paolo Nutini, Amy Winehouse and DIdo's producers and songwriters.

I've studied at SAE college in Milan and London between 1997-1998
Then I've started working all around the world with artists such as:

For centuries, music has been used to tell stories. Some of the greatest legends, myths and histories of humanity are written in song. Yet in the present day, it could be argued that the art of storytelling through music is something many have left behind.
This is not the case for Gazel, whose masterfully woven catalogue of songs draw on the Türkü folk music of her Turkish roots, re-imagined with electronic structures and spacey synths in a style she calls ‘Mythopoetic Pop Music’.

Her debut album ‘Gazel’s Book of Souls’ (2019) has been described as a 'magical, joyful collection of music', and 'as if Harry Potter blew off Hogwarts to study psychology'. The release earned her extensive airplay from BBC Radio 6 and led her to open for acts at the Hammersmith Apollo, Shepherd’s Bush Empire, Liverpool Sound City and The Jazz Cafe.

Gazel’s new EP ‘Dark Earth’, a collection of Turkish folk songs with English lyrics exploring Jungian and depth-psychological themes, is due for release October 4th 2024.

Since 2003, professional level in the recording industry. Starting career in sunrise recording studio in Tokyo as assistant engineer, progressing to audio engineer. Bark studio in London, my mentor an award winning engineer (Star trek, Primal Scream ‘Scremadelica) generously showed me many recording tips. Currently working with a variety of artists across Tokyo and London the likes of Universal music, V2, Cargo Records, Kind Records, Red Cherry Records, Matodor Record, Sony Music, BGM and more.
