ENTENDRES debut project the “Generations” EP (2020), is driven by poet and lyricist Matt Gano’s classic delivery and surreal "multi-verse,” laced over producer/composer CRSCRL's visionary "dreamhop" sound. The two have collaborated creatively for more than a decade, co-writing and releasing a full length album (Soundcloud) in 2015, entitled “Be Light” under the galactic future-space moniker, The Goldronts. Matt Gano made waves nationally as a spoken word poet and Slam champion in the early 2000’s while representing Seattle multiple years at the National Poetry Slam. With a voice rooted in, and born of 90’s hiphop, Gano studied and built his craft in a rising era of the Seattle Slam scene. Writing and performing alongside world renowned poets, Anis Mojgani, Buddy Wakefield, Tara Hardy, Iyeoka Okoawo, he completed multiple tours across the United States featuring at legendary venues, including Boston’s famed Cantab Lounge, NYC's Nuyorican Poet's Cafe, and The Bowery Poetry Club. ENTENDRES is the accumulation of over two decades worth of language and material manifest in hiphop.
